Note! DiSEqC switches may be substituted for 12v switch. DiSEqC switches are controlled through the coax and do not require the extra wire like the 12volt Switch (Substitute DiSEqC switch for 12 volt in diagram below). 22K switches are also controlled through the coax.

Splitters do not require programming.  0 / 12 volt switches  require the receiver to programmed, often in antenna or lnb setup.   DiSEqC switches also require programming if your receiver is not preprogrammed by Taylor Enterprises.  On the BEC, the bouquet must also be scanned into memory.
